Management referrals – from £300: 45–60-minute consultation either remote or face-to-face as appropriate, with a written report, addressing fitness for work, reasonable adjustments, and the Equality Act. Includes 15-minute follow-up telephone call with manager if required. Additional charges may apply depending on case complexity, and these will be discussed prior to the offer and confirmation of any appointment.
Case conference – First 45 minutes £200, thereafter £250/hr charged in 15-minute increments.
Letter writing – £60: Provision of a stand-alone report or where further medical evidence is required from another healthcare professional as part of a client’s case
HSE diving medical examinations – annual medical examination – from £180: 45 minutes to 1hr appointment including medical examination in accordance with Diving at Work Regulations (1997) and issue of HSE Form MA2.
Initial HSE diving medical examinations – please contact us directly to discuss your requirements as this is likely to involve additional medical investigations which are not included in the price of an annual medical examination.
PADI ‘Fit to Dive’ certification – From £90.
I am not currently an approved UKDMC sports diving medical referee and as such I do not undertake fitness to dive decisions for BSAC members.
Tier 4 HAVS assessment – £300
Asbestos medical – £150: 45-minute consultation. Includes completion of HSE respiratory surveillance health screening questionnaire, spirometry, clinical respiratory examination and issue of HSE Form FODMS72A – Certificate of Medical Examination – Licensed work as per Control of Asbestos Regulations – Reg 22 – 2012, or HSE certificate of medical examination for notifiable non-licensed work with asbestos.
Control of Noise at Work Regulations(2005) Cat 3 hearing referrals – £75: Comprises paper-case review and report to the employer.
Ionising Radiation Regulations(2017) Controlled Radiation Worker medicals –
Initial medical (face-to-face): £150
Review medical (face-to-face): £150
Annual paper review: £75
Ill-health retirement assessments – £350
Consultancy work – by arrangement.
Travel is charged at 45p per mile.
Block bookings and day/half-day clinic rates – Clinics are charged at a minimum daily rate of £1500 or a half-day rate of £750, comprising multiple services items up to the full-day or half-day rate e.g. 5 Tier 4 HAVS assessments (full-day) or 5 asbestos medicals (half day).
Half-day clinics within a 10-mile radius will be charged at £750. Half-day clinics at a location greater than 10 miles, will be charged at the full daily rate, to account for necessary travel time.
